That time you wished you had Prometheus’s surgery pod

Ever had a scene stick in your head for years?

There’s this moment in Prometheus where a woman uses a robotic surgery pod to cut an alien out of her own body. Pure tension. Raw survival. I was wincing the whole time.

What’s weird, though? I can’t remember much else about the movie’s complex alien mythology. All those carefully crafted encyclopedia entries about Xenomorphs? Gone. But that visceral surgery scene? Burned into my memory .

And it hit me recently why this matters…

When I was younger, I was deep into Game of Thrones lore (as one does), studying how the Boltons married whom and why House Such-and-Such hates House Whatever-Whatever. Normally, this kind of detail makes my eyes glaze over.

But something was different here.

Every piece of GoT family drama, every political alliance, every betrayal—it all feeds directly into making the story richer. When you learn who’s married to whom, you suddenly understand why Character A might stab Character B in the back.

The history isn’t just history; it’s the key to understanding what happens next.

95% of people forget complex backstory—but everyone remembers how a story made them feel.

This got me thinking about something else…

Like voting in U.S. presidential elections. Logically, any single vote might not make a difference. But sometimes, logic isn’t the point.

In the case of this particular election cycle, it was about sending a message (at least for me).

Speaking of unforgettable scenes: → Warning: This story leaves scars

In 13 wordless pages, you’ll witness what happens when:

  • Paradise burns in marble halls.

  • A privileged life meets raw truth.

  • Innocence confronts the unthinkable.

Already, early readers are calling it “hella cinematic” and “makes me want to turn the page.”

Each copy of “The Lesser Evil” includes–as a bonus– something I’ve never shared before: a 16-page prose story revealing the forbidden secret that set everything in motion.
