Flashy stunts may grab headlines, but let’s be real—they don’t win wars, and they certainly don’t secure the future.
Take these recent Mossad attacks in Lebanon, for example. They bear all the hallmarks of eager young intelligence officers, desperate to impress but hopelessly misguided in strategy.
Exhibit A: The James Bond villain”-style pager stunt—it’s a self-own, accomplishing nothing of real military value. What it did do, however, was give even more reasons for a boycott. Who, in their right mind, is going to trust Israeli tech after this?
If you’re using devices like an iPhone, where the battery is sealed out of reach, have you ever wondered what’s really inside? Convenience is one thing, but control is another. Could there be something hidden, something explosive, waiting to be triggered? When you can’t build or modify your own tech, you’re giving up more than just convenience—you’re giving up security.
Mossad’s sabotage of pagers and walkie-talkies in Lebanon is a chilling reminder of what’s at stake. It’s no longer just about innocent civilians; this reckless behavior could devastate Israel’s economy. Even the most die-hard Zionists will have second thoughts about buying Israeli-made products, and who could blame them?
Now imagine when this escalates to cars. How will that play out at airport security? Or in our daily lives?
In the short term, I recommend the Fairphone 5, paired with solid operational security. I don’t know enough about Chinese-made phones to give a recommendation, so do your own research. But that’s only the first step. Long-term, we—Muslims—must build our own electronics. We cannot continue relying on the industrial capacity of Dar ul Kufr.
This is why Alt-Tech matters. This is why the cultural war needs to be taken seriously. It’s also why we at Tales of Khayr has consistently refused crowd-funding. We must build our own platforms, free from external influence, to secure our future.
Reclaim control of your technology, and take the first steps toward a safer, more self-reliant future.
