You’ve been flooding my inbox. Lighting up my phone. Some of you are practically clawing at my digital door for The Lesser Evil.
And I’ve been dropping breadcrumbs… maybe a few too many. (As one reader wrote at 3 AM: “too much foreplay can drive a person crazy.”)
I hear you. But let me pull back the curtain:
I had the comic ready months ago. Could’ve sent it straight to print. But as I sat there staring at the pages, something felt missing. Like serving a gourmet meal on paper plates.
So I went back to the drawing board. Literally. Now, when you open The Lesser Evil, you’ll find yourself switching between two worlds: rich prose that pulls you deeper into the darkest corners of characters’ minds and crisp comic panels that punch you in the gut with visual storytelling. You’ll be hard-pressed to find that combo in a local comic book store.
The good news? The wait is almost over. Today, I watched the final printer-ready proof slide across my desk to production. The design gleams. The artwork bleeds atmosphere. And the story… it sinks its hooks in and doesn’t let go.
But before we hit early 2025 (our anticipated release date, inshAllah), here’s some more teasing:https://talesofkhayr.com/untold-tragedy/
This preview is your first step into a world where monsters rise, heroes fall, and every choice leaves a scar.
With anticipation,
Wes
