Doom Slayer, Jung, and the Path of Kings

Every good team has its roles. Some characters fight for honor. Others for power. And then there’s the guy who just enjoys the carnage.

In a recent discussion with my team, we found ourselves debating the personalities of the Brotherhood’s core members using Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as the reference. Who’s the Raphael? The Leonardo?

The sheer joy of ripping and tearing belongs to Koja—only with more discipline. Less “angry teenager,” more Master Chief or Doom Slayer.

Selective in his destruction, but when it’s go-time……

Bodies hit the floor.

Then there’s Cem. His violence is more about status.

He’s the one with the deepest need to become something greater. But arrogance is his veil, blinding him to the reality of himself and the world. And we all know where unchecked arrogance leads…

Jung would call it the path to the dark King. The Prophet ﷺ warned against the weight of arrogance barring the path to paradise. And if Cem fails he descends.

Into what?

Into Vlad (Dracula).

Did I mention Vlad makes an appearance in this series? He’ll show up in Issue #7, inshaAllah.
